Fuel rationing on the cards

GOVERNMENT is considering rationing fuel as a measure to curb fuel shortages
following a 60% increase in demand for the liquid at a time the country is

Revenue collections to reach $5bn by year end - Zimra

ZIMBABWE'S tax agency says it has met this year's revenue target of $4,7
billion and it sees collections reaching $5 billion by year end. Last year,
the actual gross revenue collections totalled $3,978 billion, ahead of the

Schools get nod to hike fees

GOVERNMENT has given schools the greenlight to increase 2019 tuition fees
and levies, but only after seeking approval from the Primary and Secondary

Art revenue up 40pc   

Amalgamated Regional Trading (ART) revenue for the full-year to September
30, 2018 rose 40 percent to $46,9 million on increased demand and improved
production output in the battery business. The battery division recorded $32
million revenue, representing 42 percent growth from prior year as it
remains the group's cash cow. During the period under review, the group
battled foreign currency shortages which resulted in difficulties in
importing essential raw materials and settling debts to foreign creditors.
