January Month on Month Inflation Rises to 5.43%

 

Harare-The month on month inflation rate in January 2021 was 5.43% gaining
1.21 percentage points on the December 2020 rate of 4.22%.

 

The year on year inflation rate (annual percentage change) for the month of
January 2021 as measured by all items Consumer Price Index stood at 362.63%.

 

The CPI for the month ending January 2021 stood at 2,608.79 points compared
to 2,474.51 points in Dec 2020 and 563.90 points in Jan 2020
