 <mailto:info at bulls.co.zw> The Zimbabwe Dollar was flat versus the
greenback. Allotted bids were up 6.65% at US$45.1m vs US$42.1m in the prior
week. 

 

The alternative market saw the ZWL stable at ZWL135 exchange rate but still
range bound from ZWL130 for small transactions to as high ZWL140 for large
transactions . 

 

The gap between interbank and alternative market remains stable but still
undesirably wide with the alternative market premium just shy of 60% at
58.8%.

 

It is important that allotments remain high coupled with tight hold on money
supply growth to ensure that the potential inflation pressures are kept in
check.
