 <mailto:info at bulls.co.zw> The Zimbabwe Dollar was 0.20% weaker versus the
greenback mark ahead of the Auction market's first anniversary late June..
Allotted bids were up 35% at USD46.9m vs US$34.8m in the prior week. 

The alternative market saw the ZWL weaken to ZWL130-ZWL135 band even as the
RBZ FIU moved to thwart abuse of forex accessed from auction market. 

The gap between interbank and alternative market continues to widen.

The RBZ has also announced that it will be fining errant auction market
participants. Among the companies cited were National Foods, Africa Steel
and Omni Africa among others.
